Saeed Abdullah is a PhD student in the department of Information Science. His research focuses on machine learning and social network analysis.
Evan Babcock is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2014. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 2009 with a B.A. in International Relations. Evan was a legal intern at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the summer of 2012. Prior to law school, Evan worked in small business lending and mortgage lending at a regional bank. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Cheryl Blakeis a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. She graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in May 2010 with a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science. Cheryl has worked with the CeRI project since May 2011. During the summer of 2012, she worked in the Reproductive Rights Unit of the Human Rights Law Network in New Delhi, India. Cheryl is also a Managing Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.
Lauren Bowman is a J.D. Candidate in the class of 2014. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in History and a minor in Public Policy. During the summer of 2012 Lauren was a judicial intern for the Hon. William H. Williams, U.S. District Court of New Jersey. At Cornell, she currently serves as an associate editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Tristan Boyd is a J.D.candidate in the class of 2014. Before coming to Cornell, Tristan received a B.A in Philosophy and an M.A. in Political Philosophy from the University of Dallas. Tristan has worked with the CeRI project since May 2012 and is currently working with the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy as an Associate Editor.
Scott Burnett is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science. At Cornell, he serves as an Articles Editor for the Cornell Law Review. During the 2012 summer, Scott was a summer associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, New York. After graduating, he will be working at the Office of the Comptroller of Currency in Washington, D.C.
Alice Choo is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. She graduated with distinction from Cornell University in 2010 with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2012, she worked as a Summer Associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York City. She is a General Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.
Tyler Clarke is a J.D.candidate in the class of 2013. He graduated from Duke University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science. During his 2L summer, Tyler was a Summer Associate at Jones Day in Dallas. He is a General Editor on the Cornell International Law Journal and he dislikes creamy (but not crunchy) peanut butter.
Stacey Eilbaum is a J.D. student in the class of 2013. She graduated from Cornell University in 2010 with a B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management and minors in Science & Technology Studies and Law and Society. During the summer of 2012, Stacey was a Summer Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. She was an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York in the summer of 2011. Stacey is an Articles Editor on the Cornell Law Review and has a Note forthcoming in March 2013.
Minsuk Han is a J.D. Candidate in the class of 2014. He graduated summa cum laude from Seoul National University in 2010 with a B.A. in Business Administration. During the summer of 2012, Minsuk worked as a judicial intern for Hon. Justice James M. Catterson in New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department. Before law school, Minsuk worked for governmental ministries in South Korea as an intern, and he also founded a software venture to build educational programs for mobile devices. At Cornell, he serves as an associate member of Cornell Law Review and the President of Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Adam Kobler is a J.D. student in the class of 2013. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science. During the summer of 2012, Adam was a Summer Associate at Kirkland and Ellis. He was an intern at the Florida State Attorney’s Office in the summer of 2011. Adam is an Acquisitions Editor, as well as the Internet Editor, on the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Steve Ma is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. He graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 2010 with a B.A. in Philosophy. During the summer of 2012, Steve was a Summer Associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, New York, NY. He has also been a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Juneal C. Kerrick, Idaho District Court for the Third Judicial District. At Cornell, Steve serves as Notes Editor for the Cornell Law Review.
Michael Magdelinskas is a J.D. Candidate in the class of 2014. He graduated with honors from Trinity College in 2011 with a B.A. in English Literature and Urban & Global Studies. During the summer of 2011 Michael was an SEO intern at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, New York. For the summer of 2012 he was the law clerk in the Government Affairs Legal Department of Altria Client Services in Washington D.C. Michael’s work in urbanism was recently published in “Rethinking Global Urbanism: Comparative Insights from Secondary Cities,” and he currently serves as an associate on the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Randy Moonan is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Albany with a B.A. in both Political Science and History. During the summer of 2012, Randy was a Summer Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He was an intern at the New York State Attorney General’s Office during the summer of 2011. Randy is a Managing Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Elizabeth Murnane is a PhD student in the department of Information Science. She studies how systems can be made more aware of individual users’ abilities, activities, contexts, and social connections.
Joon Park is a PhD student in department of Computer Science. His research focuses on the use of natural language processing to identify substantiation of claims in online text.
Josh Peary is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2010 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Josh has worked as a Summer Associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart, LLP and as a Special Prosecutions Unit Intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, both in Boston, Massachusetts. At Cornell, he serves as the Senior Notes Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal and as the Treasurer for the Cornell Law Students Association.
Alexandria Pulido is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2013. She graduated in 2007 from Columbia University with a B.A. in History. Alexandria Pulido has been an intern at the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission in Washington DC and National Labor Relations Board in Los Angeles.
Kyle Reinert is a J.D. and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law candidate in the class of 2014. He graduated from William Jewell College’s Oxbridge Honors Program in 2011 with a B.A. in Institutions & Policy and Philosophy. He spent the 2012 summer studying at Cornell’s Paris Summer Program.
Alvaro Salas is a Master of Public Administration candidate in the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs.
David Seidler is a study abroad student from the University of Sydney, Australia, currently undertaking his final year of a combined Media and Communications/Law degree. He has a summer clerk at Australian-based firm Minter Ellison in 2012/13 and has previously worked in newsrooms in Hong Kong, New York City and Bangkok. David also runs a daily music blog at 1songday.com.
John-Alex Shoaff is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2014. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University in 2011 with a major in Economics and a minor in German Studies. At Cornell, he serves as an associate editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy.

Dan Sternberg is J.D./M.B.A. candidate in the class of 2013. A registered patent agent, he graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004 with an M.S. in Computer Science. Tiina has worked as a Summer Associate at Dechert, LLP in New York, NY, and as a Research Assistant for Professor Charles Whitehead.
